Why would I become an affiliate?
Whether you are a new STEEL & BARNETT family member or you have been for years, becoming an affiliate is a great way to share your enthusiasm for our products whilst also gaining rewards.
Is there a difference between an affiliate and a referral?
No, there is no difference between these two. The terms are used interchangeably.
What is the difference between an affiliate and an ambassador?
Everyone can become an affiliate, yet only those who have shown that they are really supporters of our brand can become ambassadors. An ambassador is someone who has achieved 5 or more orders with their personal coupon code.

How many times can my code be used?
Every person who wants to use your code, can do so only once and only for their first purchase.
What is the discount percentage?
When people use your discount code, they will receive a 10% discount.
Who should I share my code with?
Start with your friends and family, they are most likely to be interested in using it. Feel free to also share it on your social media platforms too. The more people know about your discount code, the higher chance you have that someone will use it and thus you would generate commission.
We do want to point out that it is forbidden to share your code with discount sites. If you were to do this, your account will immediately be banned from the program and any commission made to date, will not be awarded.

Can the coupon be used on every product?
With the exception of items that are already on sale, the gift sets and the gift cards, your coupon can be used on every product.
Is there a minimum order amount?
Yes, there is a minimum order amount of âŹ30.
Can I use the code for my own orders?
No, you cannot. Our system detects when this would occur and it will automatically block any commission you were to receive. Also, your code will be reviewed and runs the risk of being deactivated.
Reward program
What are my rewards when someone used my code?
As you might already know, you will receive a 10% commission for every purchase made with your discount code. However, that is not the only benefit. Once 5 orders have been made with your code, you will receive a special gift. And of course, a last benefit is that the whole STEEL & BARNETT team is extremely grateful for you helping us out. Thanks to you, our brand can grow and more people can become part of the STEEL & BARNETT family!
Will I receive more commission when the order value is higher?
The commission rate does not differ according to the order value. However, you will receive more commission in general with higher order values.
Can I track how much commission I have earned?
Of course, once you have completed the full sign up process, you will receive an email from Social Snowball. This email will include a link to verify your account. Once you have verified, you are brought to a website on which you get an overview of your coupon code, the discount it gives and the commission you will receive.
What program is used for referrals?
Here at STEEL & BARNETT we use Social Snowball for our referral program.
